“Integration of Economic Literacy Skills into Veterinary Education-Training Processes Training” was organized within the scope of TÜBİTAK 2237/A Scientific Education activities at our university.
Coordinated by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mehmet Saltuk ARIKAN's "Integration of Economic Literacy Skills into Veterinary Education-Training Processes" training was organized.
The event held in the Conference Hall of the Agriculture and Livestock Research and Application Center (TAHAM) was attended by Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Mehmet Yılmaz, Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine Prof. Dr. Kazım Şahin, Director of the Health Sciences Institute Prof. Dr. Mustafa İssi, Director of the Agriculture and Livestock Research and Application Center Prof. Dr. Cemal G. Orhan, Project Coordinator Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mehmet Saltuk Arıkan, faculty members and students.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Project Coordinator Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mehmet Saltuk Arıkan said that the project aims to increase the economic literacy skills of undergraduate students studying at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and to integrate these skills into the veterinary education-training process. The training event was attended by Fırat University, Ankara University, Kastamonu University, Bingöl University and students from Atatürk University participated.
Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Mehmet Yılmaz stated that Fırat University is at a very good level in terms of project making and noted that last year, they were the first in Turkey as the University with the most projects accepted, especially in TÜBİTAK 2209 student projects. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Emin Ertan Gökhan from Fırat University, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ahmet Cumhur Akın from Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mustafa Bahadır Çevrimli from Selçuk University, Assistant Professor Murat Polat from Kastamonu University participated as instructors in the 3-day training event held in the TAHAM conference hall.
